Baked Cream Pastel Recipe

Who doesn't like a pastry? Baked or fried, pastel is always delicious! Being able to taste a pastry that has just come out of the oven makes anyone happy!

How about venturing out and preparing this delicious pastry with us? Here at TudoReceitas I share with you this recipe for roasted cream pastry and ground beef filling. This homemade pastry dough is very simple and easy to prepare with only cream, flour and butter.

Ingredients to make Baked Cream Pastry:

For mass:

 1 box of cream (200 g)

 2 cups of wheat flour (280 grams)

 2 tablespoons of butter at room temperature (shallow)

 1 coffee spoon of salt

For the filling:

 300 grams of ground beef

 2 cloves of garlic (chopped)

 1 chopped onion)

 1 small tomato (chopped)

 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce

 salt (to taste)

 black pepper (to taste)

 green smell (to taste)

 2 tablespoons of olive oil

To brush:

 1 egg yolk

 oregano (to taste)

How to Make Baked Sour Cream Pastel:

First prepare the filling. In a pan, heat the olive oil and add the chopped onion and garlic.

Tip: If you don't have olive oil, you can use conventional oil.

Add the minced meat and let it cook for a few minutes, until the broth that forms from cooking dries.

Add the tomato, green scent, salt and pepper and saute for a few more minutes, until the tomato partially dissolves.

Add the tomato sauce and mix with the sauté, letting it cook for another 2 minutes. Reserve the stuffing and only use it when it's cold.

Tip: If you wish, you can add other spices of your choice to the filling!

To prepare the pastry dough, add the wheat flour, cream, salt and butter in a bowl. Mix by hand until the dough is even.

Tip: This homemade pastry dough doesn't need beating.

When the dough is ungluing from the hands, it will be ready to be worked. Divide the dough into two parts.

Tip: If the dough is still sticking a lot in your hands, add a little more wheat flour.

On a smooth surface, sprinkle wheat flour and roll out the dough with the help of a rolling pin. The dough must not be too thin, so that it does not break easily.

Tip: If you don't have a roll, improvise with a long bottle.

Cut the dough into circles with the help of a cutter or any round object.

Tip: The amount of pastries will depend on the diameter of the cutter used. The diameter of the cutter I used was 11 cm.

Add the filling to the center of the dough, in portions that allow the pastry to close easily.

Tip: If you like, you can include chopped boiled egg on top of the ground beef filling at this point.

Close the pastries with the help of a fork, pressing their edges.

Tip: At this time, we recommend that you preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Place them on a large, greased and floured baking sheet. Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle oregano over pastries.

Tip: If you prefer, you can sprinkle sesame instead of oregano.

Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until golden.

Remove, let it cool a little and they're ready. These pastries are delicious both baked and fried! You can vary the filling and make a rotation of pastries with different flavors, you can even enjoy them accompanied by pepper sauce, garlic or any other condiment!
